About us

Visby Strandby is a facility with cabins and campsites located just outside Visby. According to the rumor it was a camping site here already in the 1930:s!

Our goal is to be one of the best camping sites on Gotland. We are pleased to offer our guests something unique, like outdoor showers or the experience to sleep in a hanging tent. We refer to all Visbys attractions as a part of the activities we can offer our guests. Our wish is that your visit at Visby Strandby will be of value to you.

Visby Strandby has been expanding during the past years. Today we have about 80 cabins and a 100 camping plots with electricity and 50 camping plots without electricity (for tents). On the facility we have three service houses of good standard and during high season we clean them three times per day. Between June and August we are around 15 employees working on a daily basis, who all do their best to make your visit at Visby Strandby memorable.
